On the early morning of August 27th, a two-vehicle crash occurred near Disneyland on West Katella Avenue. 

The woman driving a GMC Yukon was traveling east when she rear-ended a Dodge sedan. This spiraled the SUV out of control, causing it to collide with a palm tree. 

Sergeant Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department has stated that the crash occurred just before 3 a.m. The driver of the SUV, later identified as Hanna Jocelyn Gomar, 32, was found dead in the driver‘s seat. The driver of the sedan was not injured or under any alcoholic influence when cooperating with the investigators. 

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, many assuming it may be alcohol or sleep deprivation.
